Ingredients

  • 5 medium yellow squash
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 1/2 c. Pepperidge Farm dressing
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Blanch squash whole until you can push a fork into it (do not cook too long).
  • Drain and cool squash.
  • Slice squash lengthwise; scrape out the meat with a spoon, leaving just a shell.
  • Mix together all ingredients.
  • Fill squash shells with mixture; heat for 15 to 20 minutes, until cheese has melted.
