Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground meat
- salt
- pepper
- 1 onion
- garlic salt
- 2 c. spinach (1 large can or 18 oz. can)
- 1 1/2 handfuls bread crumbs or 6 double crackers, crushed
- 2 small cans mushrooms, cut up
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tsp. butter
- 2 qt. Ragu or Prego
Method
- Brown ground meat in oil.
- Drain and add salt, pepper, onion and garlic salt.
- Add spinach.
- Drain spinach and cut up spinach. Brown again on low heat.
- Add bread crumbs or crackers.
- Add mushrooms and egg; mix well.
- Let simmer 5 minutes.
- Turn heat off.
