Ingredients
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 1 About 2 dozen brussel sprouts cut in half.
Method
- Cook the barley as directed.
- If no directions I find 1/2 cup barley and 1 1/4 cup water works well.
- Cook the chopped up bacon and when done add your sprouts.
- Stir it around to coat the sprouts and then turn down to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add your barley and mix it all up.
- Season to taste, I like garlic salt and tobacco!
