Ingredients
- 4 medium bell peppers
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown ground beef and chopped onion.
- Simmer until meat is done.
- Add tomato sauce, rice, salt and pepper.
- Slice top off bell peppers and core.
- Fill each pepper equally with meat mixture until it reaches top.
- Place upright in buttered casserole dish. Cover with foil.
- Cook at 350° for about 1 hour.
