Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Clean and remove stems from mushrooms.
  • Mix thoroughly the bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, butter, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.
  • Fill mushroom caps with mixture.
  • Pour 2 tablespoons of oil in bottom of baking dish.
  • Place mushrooms in pan, stuffed side up.
  • Pour remainder of oil equally over mushrooms.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
  • When tops are brown, remove from oven and serve hot.
