Ingredients
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp. pistachio nuts, coarsely chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 275°.
- Grease an 8 inch square baking pan and set aside.
- In a small bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in flour until well mixed.
- Pat dough evenly into bottom of pan.
- With tines of fork, prick dough all over to prevent bubbles from forming during baking.
- Bake 1 hour or until pale golden. Do not allow to brown. Remove from oven.
