Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 2 sweet Italian sausage
- 5 Tbsp. flavored bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. grated cheese
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- chicken stock
Method
- In a frying pan, gently brown minced garlic in olive oil. Remove sausage meat from casing, crumble meat and fry also. In bowl, combine bread crumbs, cheese, parsley and egg.
- Add cooked sausage.
- Wash mushrooms quickly.
- Remove stems.
- Fill caps nicely with stuffing.
- Place them in a baking pan lined with foil.
- Add a little chicken stock to bottom of pan (5 to 6 tablespoons).
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
