Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1/2 Vidalia onion
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

Method

  • Remove stems from mushrooms after washing.
  • Chop stems and onion and put into glass bowl.
  • Microwave on High 2 minutes.
  • Mix in cream cheese.
  • Freeze bacon night before so you can cut strips into small pieces.
  • Cook on stove until 3/4 done.
  • Crumble into first mixture.
  • Add bread crumbs.
  • Stuff caps and put into glass pie plate.
  • Cover with Saran Wrap.
  • Microwave 2 minutes; turn and microwave 2 minutes.
  • Careful, steam is hot.
  • Yum yum.
