Ingredients
- 3 to 5 lb. cooking apples
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. water
- sugar or diet sweetener
- nutmeg
- cinnamon
Method
- Wash, core and quarter apples.
- (Do not peel.)
- Put in Dutch oven in water.
- Cook, covered.
- When partially cooked, add sugar (or artificial sweetener) and spices.
- When done, process in food processor and seal in sterilized jars.
