Ingredients
- 1 pkg. sausage
- 4 slices cubed bread
- 3 small onions
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 green peepers
Method
- Mash sausage and cook with onions until brown.
- Put onion and sausage mixture in bowl.
- Do not drain. Break bread into pieces. Put most of bread into sausage mixture.
- Save remaining bread for top.
- Add ketchup.
- Dip remaining bread pieces in grease from sausage mixture.
- Set aside.
- Boil green peppers until tender. Fill with stuffing.
- Set oven at 350 degrees, leave approximately 1 inch water in pan.
- Bake until bread crumbs are brown.
