Ingredients
- shredded raw cabbage
- 2 to 3 medium raw potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1 pkg. Spanish rice mix
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 small green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Method
- Shred enough cabbage to line baking dish or more if you like cabbage real well.
- Brown meat, onion and pepper; drain.
- Add tomato sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper and rice mix to meat mixture. Line dish with cabbage.
- Add layer of potatoes, layer of beef mixture and top layer of cabbage.
- Bake at 325° until tender, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
