Ingredients

  • 4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. macaroni
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder

Method

  • In a 6 quart pan, boil water.
  • Add butter, salt and macaroni. Cover and turn off fire.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef, and onion until the meat is well cooked, drain.
  • Add garlic, chili powder, tomatoes and onions.
  • Cook five minutes.
  • Drain macaroni, add meat mixture and simmer five minutes.
  • Serve with salad and bread sticks.
