Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 2 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 4 c. cold milk

Method

  • Prepare the cake mix as directed on package and bake in a 13 x 9 pan.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and poke holes at once down through the cake.
  • After poking holes, combine pudding mix with the sugar and gradually stir in the milk.
  • Beat at low speed for 1 minute.
  • Before the pudding thickens, pour about 1/2 the mixture over the cake and into the holes.
  • Allow the remaining pudding to thicken slightly.
  • Spoon rest of mixture over the top to frost the cake.
  • Chill at least 1 hour.
  • Store in fridge.
