Ingredients

  • 2 cups Finely Crushed Pretzels
  • 1/2 cups Sugar, Divided
  • 2/3 cups Butter, Melted
  • 1-1/2 package Cream Cheese (12 Ounces Total)
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 1 package Strawberry Gelatin (6 Ounce Package)
  • 1-1/2 cup Cold Water
  • 1 quart (4 Cups) Strawberries, Sliced

Method

  • 1) Heat oven to 350F.
  • 2) Mix pretzel crumbs 1/4 Cup sugar, and butter. Press into bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
  • 3) Beat cream cheese, 1/4 Cup sugar & milk until well blended. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over crust. Refrigerate.
  • 4) Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 minutes until it's all dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (not firm!). Stir in strawberries; spoon over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours until firm.
