Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 4 c. thinly sliced summer or zucchini squash
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. water or 2 sliced and peeled tomatoes
- 1/2 c. grated American cheese
Method
- Melt butter in skillet.
- Add squash, onion, salt, pepper and water or tomatoes.
- Cook, covered, for 10 minutes or longer, until squash is tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese and a teaspoon of soy sauce, if desired.
- Makes 4 servings.
