Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 14 Ritz crackers, rolled very fine
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 qt. fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip

Method

  • For Pie, separate eggs. Mix 4 stiffly beaten egg whites with one cup sugar, added slowly; beat until stiff. Combine baking powder, crackers, and nuts to egg mixture. Place in a well-buttered 9-inch pie tin and bake for 40 minutes in a 325° oven. Cool.
  • For the filling, mix strawberries with Cool Whip and place on top of pie shell.
