Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 heaping Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
- pinch of salt
- 1 qt. strawberries
- 2 (8-inch) pie shells
Method
- In a double boiler, cook sugar, cornstarch, boiling water and salt until thick.
- Remove from heat; add Jell-O and cool.
- Add 1 quart strawberries.
- Pour into two 8-inch pie shells.
- Serve with Cool Whip.
