Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c. strawberry preserves
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 3/4 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/2 c. finely chopped almonds or walnuts or sifted 10x sugar
Method
- Beat cream cheese at medium speed until creamy.
- Add melted chocolate.
- Beat until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla wafer crumbs and preserves.
- Cover and chill for 1 hour.
- Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in nuts or sugar and chill.
- (These will keep up to 2 months in freezer.)
- Yield:
- 4 dozen.
- May also substitute raspberry preserves.
