Ingredients

  • 2 c. pretzels, crushed
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 2 c. boiling water

Method

  • Melt butter; mix with granulated sugar and pretzels.
  • Pat into bottom of 9 x 2 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 8 minutes; cool. Beat cream cheese, whipped topping and powdered sugar.
  • Spread on top of pretzel mixture.
  • Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add strawberries.
  • Stir until Jell-O begins to thicken.
  • Pour over cream cheese mixture and refrigerate about 2 hours.
