Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. pecans, broken small
  • 1 c. sour cream

Method

  • Dissolve strawberry gelatin in hot water. Add frozen strawberries. Let stand until strawberries soften. Add pineapple (with juice). Add pecans; mix well. Pour half of mixture into Pyrex dish. Chill until firm. Spoon sour cream over firm gelatin; spread evenly. Pour remaining gelatin mixture over sour cream. Chill until firm. Cut into squares before serving.
