Ingredients
- 1 pkg. white cake mix
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil or 1 stick margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (save 1/2 c. juice)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour round cake pans. Combine dry jello, cake mix, water and oil.
- Mix with mixer.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix.
- Fold thawed strawberries into batter. Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake till golden brown for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool completely before frosting.
