Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil or 1 stick margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (save 1/2 c. juice)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour round cake pans. Combine dry jello, cake mix, water and oil.
  • Mix with mixer.
  • Add eggs one at a time and mix.
  • Fold thawed strawberries into batter. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  • Bake till golden brown for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Remove from pans and cool completely before frosting.
