Ingredients

  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Method

  • Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
  • Combine eggs, oil and strawberries.
  • Add to dry ingredients, mixing well.
  • Pour batter into two greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
  • Poke holes in bread with toothpicks.
  • Mix juice from strawberries and sugar to taste.
  • Pour over bread while still warm.
  • Allow to set 24 hours.
