Ingredients
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well.
- Combine eggs, oil and strawberries.
- Add to dry ingredients, mixing well.
- Pour batter into two greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
- Poke holes in bread with toothpicks.
- Mix juice from strawberries and sugar to taste.
- Pour over bread while still warm.
- Allow to set 24 hours.
