Ingredients

  • 1 cup Half-and-half
  • 2 cups Ripe Strawberries
  • 2 whole Frozen Bananas

Method

  • Take your frozen bananas out from the freezer and place them on the cutting board.
  • Unwrap them from the plastic wrap (or whatever you happened to store them in) and cut into 1/2-inch slices (see notes below).
  • Place in a bowl and set aside.
  • Grab two cups of strawberries (the riper, the sweeter, the better) and rinse, de-stem, and let dry on a paper towel.
  • To your blender, add your frozen bananas, about a fourth at a time, stopping to stir it with a spoon each time.
  • After every whole banana, dump in a cup of strawberries.
  • When youre halfway through, add the half-and-half (really, it can be any type of dairy you prefer).
  • Blend until you think everything has come together.
  • Taste every so often.
  • Blend in sugar if you want to!
  • Note: the reason I want the bananas chopped up in 1/2-inch slices is because tastes vary and it can be too much banana.
  • This recipe works for my tastes all the time and its pretty simple when all I need is a quick breakfast or snack.
