Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 2 c. whipping cream, whipped or Dream Whip
  • 1 large angel food cake (10-inch size)

Method

  • Dissolve gelatin in hot water.
  • Chill until slightly congealed.
  • Beat until light and fluffy.
  • Drain and reserve 1 cup juice from berries.
  • Fold in strawberries and whipped cream.
  • Rub off brown crumbs from angel cake; tear into pieces.
  • Put in large bowl and fold in strawberry cream mixture.
  • Spread in jelly roll pan.
  • Let set until firm.
  • Lightly frost with whipped cream. Drizzle with glaze.
