Ingredients

  • 3 ounces, weight Squares Of Good Quality Semi Sweet Chocolate, Divided
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 whole Pie Crust, Baked As Directed
  • 2 blocks 3 Ounce Cream Cheese Softened ( Total Of 6 Ounces)
  • 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 4 cups Fresh Strawberries, Hulled
  • 1/2 cups Strawberry Jam, Melted

Method

  • Melt 2 ounces of chocolate and butter over low heat in small sauce pan, stirring constantly.
  • Brush this over the bottom and up the sides of the pie crust.
  • Chill until chocolate is set.
  • In bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla, until smooth. Spread over the chocolate layer.
  • Chill 1 - 2 hours.
  • Arrange hulled berries, point side up, over entire pie. Get as artistic as you want with this step !
  • Melt strawberry jam and brush over the top of the pie and strawberries.
  • Melt last piece of chocolate and drizzle all over the pie.
  • Chill, and enjoy !
