Ingredients

  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • 5 strawberries diced
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • ginger jam optional
  • oil for frying
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • In the center of each wonton wrapper, place a teaspoon of diced strawberries, some chocolate hazelnut spread, and a dollop of ginger jam (optional). Do not overfill.
  • With your finger dipped in water, wet all 4 sides of the wonton wrapper. Bring one corner up towards another, forming a triangle. Then bring the other 2 corners towards each other, forming a crown. Pinch these last 2 corners together.
  • Heat up 1 to 2 fingers of oil in a skillet or wok and, when hot, fry the wontons on each side until golden and crunchy.
  • Drain on paper towels and, once cooled a bit, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
