Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. paprika
  • 4 large pieces steak
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 thin slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms, mixed according to directions on pkg.

Method

  • Mix crumbs, Parmesan, salt and paprika.
  • Dip chops into egg and roll in crumb mixture.
  • Heat butter and brown chops on both sides.
  • Cover each with a slice of Mozzarella cheese.
  • Pour spaghetti sauce mix, to which the tomato sauce has been added, over steak.
  • If sauce is too thick, add a little water.
  • Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes.
