Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced into rings
- 6 to 8 slices fresh bread, cut up and sprinkled with sage
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
Method
- Press raw meat into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with onion.
- Mix soups together and add bread (add 1/2 can milk if too dry).
- Pour over meat and onion.
- Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
- Hamburger comes out like steak.
