Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 lb. yellow squash, cooked and drained
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Saute onion in margarine.
- Add squash, eggs, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Cook on top of stove until thick.
- If squash doesn't mound when dropped from a spoon, add 2 tablespoons flour.
- Bake in well-greased and floured ring mold for 1 hour.
- Remove and fill the center of ring with green beans.
