Ingredients
- 8 c. sliced yellow squash
- 4 bell peppers, sliced
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1/4 c. pickling salt
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. celery
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Soak squash, peppers and onions with salt and water to cover for 1 hour.
- Mix spices, sugar and vinegar and bring to boil.
- Add drained squash, peppers and onions and bring to a good rolling boil.
- Put in jars and seal.
