Ingredients
- 4 to 5 yellow crooked neck summer squash
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook squash with onion in a little water to get it cooked. Drain and add butter; then mash. To this, add egg, cracker crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper. Put into balls and roll in cracker crumbs. Fry in skillet.
