Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 large green onions, cut off green part
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can garbanzo beans, thoroughly drained
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed but not squeezed dry
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. tahini paste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Place garlic and green onion in food processor with metal blade.
  • Process until minced.
  • Add drained garbanzo beans and puree until smooth.
  • Add spinach, lemon juice, water, tahini paste and salt.
  • Process until mixed.
