Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 3/4 tsp. sage

Method

  • Cook and drain spinach and broccoli as directed on package. Mix with cheese, melted butter, salt and pepper.
  • Put in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • Top with fresh bread crumbs, which have been tossed in 1/4 cup butter and sage.
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
