Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. broccoli
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- salt
Method
- Cut tops off broccoli; break into 1 1/2-inch florets.
- Peel and discard fibrous skin from stalk; slice into 1/4-inch-thick coins.
- In 12-inch skillet, heat oil on medium-high.
- Add garlic and red pepper; cook 15 to 30 seconds, stirring, until fragrant.
- Add broccoli; cook 1 minute, stirring.
- Stir in water.
- Cover; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until broccoli is tender and water has evaporated.
- Season with 1/4 teaspoon salt.
