Ingredients
- 8 chicken pieces
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pepper and garlic powder to taste
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp. dried basil
Method
- Combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a bag.
- Shake the chicken pieces individually until coated.
- Brown in the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, pour off fat.
- In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
- Add to skillet and simmer, covered, 25 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Serves 4.
