Ingredients

  • 2 qt. orange juice, chilled
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. each: cinnamon, ginger and ground cloves
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
  • nutmeg

Method

  • In large bowl, measure 3 cups of the orange juice, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and lemon juice.
  • Blend with mixer.
  • Stir in remaining orange juice; cover and refrigerate. Before serving, pour eggnog mixture into large punch bowl, spoon in ice cream and add ginger ale.
  • Blend with mixer.
  • Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
