Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • small amount cayenne
  • garlic salt to taste
  • chili powder to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes

Method

  • Saute onion and green pepper in the oil until soft.
  • Add ground beef and seasonings, stirring until meat loses its pink color.
  • Stir in the cooked rice, the tomatoes and the Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
