- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- freshly ground black pepper
- small amount cayenne
- garlic salt to taste
- chili powder to taste
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
Method
- Saute onion and green pepper in the oil until soft.
- Add ground beef and seasonings, stirring until meat loses its pink color.
- Stir in the cooked rice, the tomatoes and the Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
