Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 2 c. broth
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cook and cut chicken into small pieces.
- Place chicken in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Heat broth and soup.
- Bring it to a boil.
- Pour over chicken.
- Melt margarine; add pepper.
- Mix other ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk.
- Spoon over chicken.
- Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
