Ingredients
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- sugar to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Method
- Coat bottom of large pan with olive oil.
- Add chopped garlic and cook until soft.
- Add tomato paste with 1/2 can of water and simmer for a few minutes.
- Add spices and then add tomato sauce and simmer for several hours.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti.
