Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 4 oz. shredded Mozzarella

Method

  • Cook spaghetti.
  • Place in 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg until thoroughly mixed. Spread evenly in pan.
