Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 qt. tomatoes, crushed
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Combine hamburger and onion; brown.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste and 1 can water and mushrooms.
- Stir in garlic powder, oregano, parsley, bay leaf and thyme.
- Cook on low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
- Serves 6 or more.
