- 1 box spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Boil and drain spaghetti. Mix with butter, eggs and Parmesan. Press into a casserole dish.
- Spread with cottage and Mozzarella cheeses.
- Cook beef, onion and green pepper.
- Drain.
- To meat mixture, add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt.
- Cook until blended.
- Pour on top of spaghetti.
- Bake 20 minutes, uncovered, at 350°.
- Sprinkle with grated Mozzarella and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.
