Ingredients
- 8 c. cornbread crumbs
- 4 c. day old biscuits or loaf bread
- 5 c. broth (chicken or turkey; more if needed)
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- black pepper to taste
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 large can mushroom soup
Method
- Crumble bread crumbs.
- Add broth to soften; add eggs.
- Add more broth as needed.
- Mix in all other ingredients, adding soup last.
- Melt 6 tablespoons butter or margarine and mix in well. Bake in greased pan 40 to 50 minutes at 400°.
