Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
- Put into large glass jar.
- Add flour, sugar and remaining water.
- Mix well.
- Loosely cover.
- Let stand in warm place for 3 to 5 days.
- Feed every 7 days with 1/4 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 1 cup flour.
- Do not use until 24 hours after feeding or else before you feed it.
- Always keep at least 1 cup to feed so it will stay live.
