Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 7 c. all-purpose flour

Method

  • Combine yeast and water and stir until dissolved.
  • Add remaining ingredients and beat well. Turn out on floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
  • Roll and cut out.
  • Place in greased pan and bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes. These will keep in refrigerator 7 to 10 days to be used as needed.
