Ingredients
- solid fresh heads of cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt to each jar
- boiling water
Method
- Chop cabbage and fill quart jar leaving 1-inch head space.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt to each jar.
- Pour boiling water over cabbage leaving 1-inch head space.
- Seal at once.
- Place jars in a dark cool place and let work for 6 weeks before using.
