Ingredients
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1 c. raisins
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, flour, spices and salt. Blend in sour cream and raisins.
- Soak raisins in boiling water 10 minutes ahead of time.
- Add beaten egg yolks and cook until thick, boil 3 minutes.
- Pour into baked pie shell.
- Cover with the Brown Sugar Meringue.
