Ingredients

  • Pie Crust
  • 1 Pint Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c sugar
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • (you can adjust the sugar down to 1/4 cup since the apples are sweet anyway and use 1/2 & 1/2 insteaed of heavy cream)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Peel apples and slice thin. (this will ensure apples cook thru.)
  • Mix egg, cream, sugar and vanilla in medium bowl.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Add sliced/diced apples until shell is full.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon over top.
  • Cook at 375 for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour or until fork comes out clean.
