Ingredients
- 6 or 7 potatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. dairy sour cream
- salt to taste
- 1/4 c. minced green onion
- paprika
- butter or margarine
Method
- Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
- Drain. Mash potatoes in large bowl of electric mixer; add cream cheese, sour cream and salt.
- Beat at high speed until smooth and light. Stir in chopped green onion.
- Spoon into a lightly greased baking dish; sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter or margarine. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes or until lightly golden brown and heated through.
- This can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
