Ingredients
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 1 can sauerkraut
- 1 tsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 pt. water
- 1 large potato, grated
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 2 onions, chopped
Method
- Heat oil in skillet and fry chopped onions.
- Add sauerkraut and simmer a few minutes.
- Add the water and sausage; cook until done. Add the grated potato, salt and sugar.
- Cook 45 minutes longer.
